We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful
Here’s what some of the other bookbloggers have been up to lately:
- Mark Sarvas and Maud Newton guest edited a “self-made” issue of Boldtype.
- Laila Lalami has a short story collection out (Hope and Other Dangerous Pursuits), and now she’s gone and interviewed Salman Rushdie for her local newspaper.
- Lizzie Skurnick has published her first collection of poems, Check-In, and she’s already read from it on public radio. She’ll be reading more at a gallery in Baltimore next month.
