In addition to &#8220;More,&#8221; it includes &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bostonreview.net\/allan-peterson-pure-indonesia\" target=\"_blank\">Pure Indonesia<\/a>&#8221; from <i>Boston Review<\/i> and several poems archived at the Poetry Foundation website, like &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.poetryfoundation.org\/poem\/245730\" target=\"_blank\">Eight Presidents<\/a>&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.poetryfoundation.org\/poem\/245732\" target=\"_blank\">Moon Missing<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>McSweeney&#8217;s previewed their publication of <I>Fragile Acts<\/i> with the poem &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcsweeneys.net\/articles\/a-mcsweeneys-books-preview-of-allan-petersons-fragile-acts\" target=\"_blank\">Long Distance<\/a>,&#8221; as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcsweeneys.net\/articles\/a-mcsweeneys-books-qa-with-allan-peterson-author-of-fragile-acts\" target=\"_blank\">an interview with Peterson<\/a>: &#8220;The poems I hope for and hope to write are reflective, revealing, and incantatory,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Incantatory, not in the sense of repetition, but spell inducing because of the aura of seriousness, metaphoric description, and reverie. A poem is not a caption to experience, it is experience, and not a reminiscence, though it may contain reminiscences.
