The book is dedicated to Philip Levine; the poem &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.valpo.edu\/vpr\/lauxmine.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mine Own Phil Levine<\/a>&#8221; originally appeared in <i>Valparaiso Poetry Review<\/i>. <i>Orion<\/i> published &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orionmagazine.org\/index.php\/articles\/poem\/247\/\" target=\"_blank\">Juneau<\/a>&#8221; (as &#8220;Juneau Spring&#8221;) and &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.orionmagazine.org\/index.php\/articles\/poem\/2984\/\" target=\"_blank\">Roots<\/a>.&#8221; <i>Willow Springs<\/i> published &#8220;Staff Sgt.
