The interface leaves a lot to be desired, but Michael Palin has put the complete texts of his travel books online for free reading at his official website. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any journeys in which he floats down the mighty rivers of British Columbia, but if you like the Himalayas or the Sahara, or going around the world in eighty days, Palin's your man.
