There Goes Her Pride Parade Grand Marshalship
by Ron HoganIn the San Francisco Chronicle, Philip Matier and Andrew Ross report on the disintegration of Terry McMillan's marriage to the hot young stud who helped her get her groove back and "now says he's gay." Jonathan Plummer accuses his soon-to-be ex-wife of all sorts of homophobic vitriol in the aftermath of their breakup, while her attorney insists McMillan's not like that. "However, she feels betrayed and disappointed ... that her husband is gay," she tells the reporters. "And anything you have seen in the pleadings emanates from how she is experiencing the end of her marriage, and it doesn't have to do with anything else."
Right. So when McMillan tells her husband, "the reason you're going to make a great fag is that most of you guys are just like dogs anyway... You do whatever with whomever pleases you and don't seem to care about the consequences," remember, that doesn't have anything to do with her actual feelings about any other "fags" besides her husband. Ordinarily, she thinks they're just great.
