I'd mentioned yesterday that I'd been taking Project Gutenberg e-books and converting them from plain ASCII files to a format I could read on my Handspring (which otherwise doesn't really get much use anymore, since I switched to iCal and Address Book). Now it turns out you can make e-books for your iPod. I may have to go upgrade to a third- or fourth-generation device just to take advantage of this awesome hack.
