Taking the Show on the Road

I've been invited to take part in a panel with a few other webfolks at the Writer's Center in Bethesda, Maryland on April 23rd. I'm still sorting out what I would have to say, but since my co-panelists will the the publishers of Poetic Inhalation and an editor from No Tell Motel, I may be spending even more time than usual celebrating National Poetry Month over the next few weeks. I also hear tell that we'll be brought into line by the Happy Booker, which should be pretty fun. I've really enjoyed her blog these last few weeks--in fact, since I rarely manage to get up before 10:00 A.M. (not that there's anything wrong with that), her blog is the first I've heard of this whole Good Morning America/"The Story of My Life" thing, which sounds like an intriguingly literary spin on the whole "Queen for a Day" reality TV subgenre.
