"Each month's highest-ranked entry will proceed to the year-end competition," the site announces. "Two winners of that contest will be announced: grand prize (as chosen by a panel of a celebrity judges) and readers' choice. The judges' pick will receive $1,934, commemorating the publication date of Tropic of Cancer." The reader's choice will live secure in the knowledge that he or she could get lucky whenever they want in any bookstore in the country.
