Now Just Wait for the Imaginary Bombings
by Ron HoganI guess we can't really call this a "sneak preview" of the new reality that will become commonplace in this second Bush administration, but Page Six is now describing the International Atomic Energy Agency as "the U.N.-sponsored group responsible for spreading the disinformation that ended up on the front page of the Times about 380 tons of missing Iraqi explosives." That's right: it's all part of the Post's policy of claiming Al Qaqaa never happened. Never mind the soldiers who've told reporters the site was like "LA during the Rodney King riots" long after Saddam fell; they're probably in on the conspiracy, too--if, that is, they even exist.
