Whoever She Is, She Outwrites Jane Austen Doe

There's a new literary blogger on the scene, and Bitch Novelist is mad as hell about "the industry, the prize committees, the reviewers, and many over-hyped novels." It's a bit too early to tell where things are going, but I'm quite sympathetic to her opening notion that scholars should be paying more attention to contemporary fiction (see this old item for my related ramblings) and I'll look forward to seeing what she has to say next, though I have absolutely no idea who she is.
