Sarah Weinman passes along a link to Jake's All Star Book of the Week, in which six-year-old Jake McCarthy reviews, you guessed it, a book a week. Here's his take on Freckle Juice:

I liked this book because the kid wants freckles when he looks better without freckles.  And when he spends fifty cents, which is five weeks of allowance, instead he gets sick.
