I Need to Go Lie Down Now
by Ron HoganI had no idea anyone had ever bought the film rights to Roger Zelazny's classic Lord of Light, let alone that they'd hired Jack Kirby as production designer. And I sure as hell didn't know that the CIA was to blame for the film never getting made...but now I know.
The Hollywood issue of Jack Kirby Collector has some more info if you're willing to buy it, but the website also includes an online version of another article about Kirby's adaptation of The Prisoner, "an intense, ambitious comic, oddly in tune with his other 1970s projects" that never saw the light of day.
