Nice Work If You Can Get It

Apparently Beth Lisick does an entertainment column for the San Francisco Chronicle website. I fondly remember seeing her around the San Francisco club circuit in the late 1990s, when she'd just published Monkey Girl, a collection of the texts of the spoken word pieces with which she was wowing the city's hiperati, and providing many of us with our initial discovery of how to determine your porn star name. Anyway, as entertainment columns go, it's a cut above, I think. Pity we don't seem to have anything like it here in New York, really.
