Putting a Name to the Images

Bookslut uncovered an interesting article earlier today about the work of Annie Vallotton, whose simple pen-and-ink illustrations can be found throughout the Good News Bible. Those of us in Generations X and younger with a Christian background may recall coming across this edition at some point; copies were found throughout the parish building where my CCD classes were held, and it's probably the first translation that I read with any sort of serious intent (not counting The Children's Bible, which really isn't a translation at all).
